The best statement sweaters on the high street this month

THERE’S no item of clothing I love more on a chilly weekend than a cosy sweater. My favourite ever is my navy cashmere which I found in the H&M sale at the end of last summer for half price. I felt like I was robbing the store, such was my disbelief at such a bargain.

But a classic cashmere can be dressed up and down, and I will just as often pair it with a pencil skirt for work than tucked into jeans on a weekend.

There are some sweaters though that are more for those laid-back looks. And increasingly, people are wearing their hearts on their sleeves and using their clothes to make a (literal) statement.

So, if you’re in the market for a statement off-duty sweat, look no further than my round-up of what’s new in store this month. Happy shopping!

I have a very similar leopard print jumper from New Look last year (below)……. uuWTIqJBbut so tempted by this one!

I don’t think the embroidered floral trend is going anywhere anytime soon, either, so this one is probably worth snapping up if it takes your fancy!

What I like most about this pair of sweaters is that they can be dressed up or down. Either over a midi skirt with slingbacks would look lovely for a chilly spring Sunday.

I love all of your fashion options on this blog. I’ve been looking for a new statement and think that the funday option you put up here would be perfect for Sunday Funday. Which fashion trends would you recommend following for Spring 2018?

    1. Thank you! Yes that’s my personal favourite too. I think stripes will be massive and there are lots of lovely stripe pieces on the high street right now which won’t break the bank. Pastels are also in (as usual it’s spring!) And yellow…but yellow can be difficult to work with. I found some nice yellow shoes in M&S which is how I’ll probably incorporate that trend!
