Wedding dresses on a budget: Options from Missguided, Monsoon, Dorothy Perkins, Asos and more…

‘Did someone say ‘wedding’? That will be five-hundred-million-pounds please!’

Yup, it costs some dollar to get hitched.

But there are ways to save – and the high street is fully on-board with budget-friendly weddings.

A fresh batch of purse-loving dresses and accessories have just hit the stores. So without further ado, let’s take a look [links on the pics as always].

Low-key wedding?

This polka-dot dress from Glamorous will set you back just £35! (Not in stock yet but will be here on the page linked when it is)

Missguided has launched its new wedding dress collection.

Prices from £90-£150 and you can get 20% off if it’s your first order

Forever a favourite – my beloved ASOS.

I swear you can get anything on this site; a one-stop shop for all your wedding needs; your dress, bridesmaid dresses, shoes, bags, fascinators etc

The promo shots for Lipsy are a dream….

the summer collection includes lots of lovely bridesmaids dresses & nightwear too (see below). Prices from just £80 for a wedding dress, up to £250

Monsoon has been leading the high-street wedding collections for a good few years.

And this year’s collection is very pretty – lots of lace and satin; boho but a bit 90s. Prices from £250 to £600

Dorothy Perkins

A surprise favourite! The collection caters for all body shapes and start at £85

‘Juliet’ £85
‘Natalia’ £95
‘Constance’ £99
‘Aurora’ £99

Pretty Eccentric…

Has some pretty beautiful stuff. I hadn’t really come across this label before, but if you want old-school glam on a budget, this is the one for you. You can get 10% off your first order when you sign up to the newsletter, too.

‘Lamore’ maxi £269

And something for your feet, madam?

It feels like a beautiful pair of wedding shoes is a rite of passage. After all, it’s probably the most important walk of your life, that one up the aisle.

The high street stores have killed the shoe market lately, with some great ‘they look designer’ pieces. My first stop is always good ol’ M&S

These (below) are so Louboutin-esque

If those are all sold-out, then take a look at these from Dune (the blue ones are the closest most of us are ever going to get to being Carrie Bradshaw….). Prices around £95
